project description: This project was inspired by the colour de nimes by Farrow and Ball, a favourite of the client they wanted to see used throughout the entire cottage. With the focus on family gathering, the space includes areas to relax and escape but allowing the opportunity to entertain. White shiplap used throughout the cottage allowed for the pops of blue to stand out and be a featured through the soft furnishings, millwork and tiles. Another goal was selecting materials and finishes that are true to a Muskoka cottage while insuring that it allows for the cottage to be used all year round.
