project description: This project is one of two chalets being built side by side by two friends. It was important to make sure each felt like a chalet but were different enough and showed the style of the individual families. This chalet pulls inspiration from the timeless style in Aspen, Colorado. It was key to focus on natural materials, like Indian limestone and white oak, but adding interest with accents of deep blue paint and millwork, as well as wallpaper and hardwood feature walls.
